That looks a good 'un mate. Think I'll try & get along to that. I'm guessing you'll be in your drape & crepes? Think a MMMotors shirt would cut it?

Like I said in my PM mate, you'd be very welcome to stay here but there's barely enough room for ME in my little studio flat. 50 quid for a Travel Lodge room out of the question? Could post a request on 100% Biker. Several in the Reading area on there, plus Stevie & Gypsy & Summer here in Basingstoke.

The Rivermead's a leisure centre isn't it? Don't suppose they're organising any kind of camping there? Mind you, I wouldn't want to camp in the middle of January. Used to but prefer my comfy bed these days!

Fabulous! Love the waistcoat! Basingstoke's not quite ready for you -seas of shuffling zombie chavs here, but you should go down a storm at the Rocker's Reunion! Definitely gonna be at that one -with the camera, so see you there.

Can't make this one I'm afraid.  Dave wants to go to the toy fair at Kempton.  He's meeting a trader there whose coming all the way from Devizes with some Mk II consul goodies!!! what a shame, I was looking forward to a good jive.  By the way "Connie" is up and running all we need to do now is fix the handbrake cable and we're off!!!

If you don't fix the handbrake you'll be off anyway!
So I trust you're already writing a short feature & taking some nice piccies of your beloved Consul for us? Still waiting for a piece on your 50s lifestyle & that box of bits Dave calls a Triumph too! x

I was really looking forward to doing this one, but a check of my finances shows I just can't afford it, so no report I'm afraid. Off to see the Hamsters again next week though!

You wouldn't want to camp any time of year! Remember that's one of the mottos of this forum (copyright Stevie I believe) - 'Manky Don't Camp'. Mind you, he might not have been talking about tents...

 ;DOooh, get you!
Think it was Bobbi actually. No sane person would leave their comfy home at this time of year to go & sit in a freezing field somewhere, knee deep in mud, vomit & sheep poo & try to sleep in a canvas wind tunnel. I'm planning on hibernating till the Spring. Wake me up at half past May.
