Teetering on the edge of insanity

« Reply #15 on: January 21, 2009, 07:22:15 PM »

Wouldn't have bought it if I didn't think it was any good just seems a shame to have to use something everyday that should be only used on the odd occasion. If I could have a Boxford and one of these I would be well chuffed.

As it is I am happy with the old girl she does the job.

By the way how many change wheels should there be? I seem to be missing the 25 tooth wheel but as I don't know what number there where meant to be I could be wrong.

Will be converting the nose thread for the Myford thread so I can get more chucks but apart from that she's going to stay the way the Drummond brothers built her.

Bugger! No 63 tooth gear just checked today, still I can live without it, I normally use taps and Dies anyway and I'm not sure if i can remember how to turn a thread now. Grin
