As a Postie I deliver loads of magazines. Some people get a dozen different titles every month, (why don't they just buy 'em from the newsagents down the road & save my aching back?). Every profession seems to have it's own dedicated mag. I often wonder how they manage to fill an issue with articles every month.
Today I delivered "Funeral Director Monthly" -yes, honestly. I take the mail to both the local cemetary & a funeral parlour. The cemetary director is also a biker & runs a disco in his spare time! This month's issue had a banner across the top proclaiming "Merry Christmas to all our readers"!
I also regularly carry "Concrete Monthly", "Accountancy Journal" & "Goldfish News". Somewhere I've got a copy of a japanese custom bike mag that costs a whopping 17 quid a month & reads back to front, starting at the back cover & working forward.
So what mags do you subscribe to or buy regularly? (I may regret asking this!).
I get 100% Biker & Ol Skool Rodz on subscription & buy Back Street Heroes & the occasional Custom Car. Sometimes buy Empire film magazine too.

I get 100%Biker on subscription, and sometimes pick up a copy of BSH.
Used to get Classic & Motorcycle Mechanics for all the practical articles but went downhill after it was bought out by one of the big groups and it only has about one useful article in each issue now.

Mike works in a newsagents early mornings, one of his main jobs is sorting out the magazines that arrive daily - he's absolutely amazed at the obscure stuff that has about 10 different mags about it!

So have I converted you all to Ol Skool Rodz then?! I get my subscription from The Magazine Man. He has a stand at most big shows. Does just about every mag going. I've got my 6 month renewal notice here for my subscription. 27 quid for 6 issues. His email address is
magazines@themagazineman.co.uk
if you need it. I deliver one called "Running" too. How many articles can you possibly write about running?
When we first started planning Flap's orange trike I wanted to fit one of those big ol' cast iron tractor seats. They fitted lightweight pressed steel ones on some models & I thought it'd look great lightly padded & covered in black vinyl. Had a look in W.H.Smiths for tractor magazines. There's DOZENS of 'em!

I bought a couple of issues of Dice at drag race meets last year. It's only about 6 inches square & some of the writing's a bit dis-jointed but the piccies are good with some really cool retro custom stuff in there.
Click on the HotRod Tiki link in our links page. They stock it, as well as some other good underground mags like Rolls & Pleats & BurnOut.

For those that don't buy it or can't be bothered to click the link, here's some pretty pictures from the latest issue of Dice. Nice stuff.
