Nice to see Chevy Rick at the jumbly today, as well as Simon on his trike & lots of familiar faces to chat to. A lovely crisp, sunny Autumn day for it too. We bought a few odds & ends but were mainly there for a bit of a wander about -& to bring you a couple of hundred snapshots to look at of course.
Piccies here.

Kempton photos

Thanks for your pics Rick  Wink

We stood in a huge queue, patiently waiting to get in, before discovering when we reached the gate that most of 'em were queueing for the Annual Amateur Emptomology meeting next door!
-that's bug collecting to you & me. This chap kindly showed us his Madagascan Hissing Cockroaches.
Err, thanks.

I didnt see you guys down there  Sad.  i spent 3 hours wandering around, poking thro bit of rusty metal whilst Mrs T was staring at the shiny bits lol.
Picked up a set of Harley bars for my grandsons Trike, the seller started by teling me all about the history of the bars n how many Harleys they had graced, you should have seen his face drop when i told him they were going onto a 50cc mini moto trike that i made! he was nearly crying lol

We were there at about 10.30 ish and stayed for hours, sorry we missed you both  Sad . I did a similar thing when I bought the seat for my trike. It too was from a Harley bloke and he tried to sell me other stuff untill I told him it was for a Reliant trike. He got me a bag very quickly  Grin

We were wearing black MMMotors jackets TB. Dead easy to spot. Would've been good to meet up for a natter. Are you in any of our piccies? Maybe you should've worn a TBone jacket.  Smiley

I was there from around 11.30 so our paths should have crossed, I think the trouble was, you wouldnt know me if you ran me over and my head was burried among all the goodies for sale, more often than not lol. Only decided on the day to go down and glad i did now, got a few more bits n bobs, best bargain of the day i think was the guy selling assorted downpipes for a pound each, if i`d parked closer n had more arms, i`d have bought the lot!
Next time i venture that way i`ll let you know beforehand.  Wink

Nothing we actually need at the moment so we restricted ourselves to just buying roller towel, cutting discs, goggles, respirator masks & a sand stone. We were tempted to buy some giant stick insects from the bug show next door but there's no room in the house for them & if we let them go in the garden we'd never find them again!
