THERES NOT A LOT HERE, WICH IS Y I LIKE IT. ITS A PLACE WHERE YOU CAN B. THE ISLAND IS FAMOUSE FOR VARIOUS THINGS. BUT IT HAS A GREAT PUB ON IT. I GOT ME DRINK AND SAT OUTSIDE 1 NIGHT AND IT FELT LIKE I WAS ON ME BIKE ONLY BETTER. THE WIND WAS STRONG AND THE SOUND OF THE SEA AND WIND TOGETHER WAS LIKE SCREAMING UP THE MOTOWAY. ONLY I DONT DO IT WITH A DRINK IN MY HAND. THERES A WICKED TRACTOR THAT TAKES YOU TO THE ISLAND AND BACK. IT GOES THROUGH THE SEA WHEN TIDE IS IN. SCARY AT NIGHT. I WENT THERE FOR A DRINK AND THEN CAME HOME AND IM IN B,HAM.

Burgh Island....what a place!!!! have'nt been for a while but an outstanding location, the pub on the island is (or was) called The Pilchard. The walk up to the top is fairly long and hard ( but that's the way the wife likes it!!!!! ) But well worth the effort. Try watching the sunset from there with a bevvy or two AWSOME!!!!

Burgh Island is south Devon, not far from Kingsbridge.  It's about 100 miles from the Minack theatre which is near Porthcurno right down near the end of Cornwall.  I spose the island could be on the way to Cornwall tho.

I recognise that hotel -the Bigbury. It was used as a location for one of the Poirot TV films, possibly "10 little Indians".
