Teetering on the edge of insanity

« on: August 10, 2008, 01:12:29 PM »

Just purchased a Hammerite Metalmaster battery powered paint thingy not used it yet as you have to use all the paint in 24Hrs so probably try it out next weekend if I can.

Will post pics when I have time to take them.

That's the jobbie that can spray round corners by charging the paint with a static charge so it clings to the metal isn't it? I'd be curious to see how well it works.

No, they all come in blue!
Seems to have a long thin vertical spraying nozzle. Odd.
Is the white bit a cartridge full of paint? Knowing how gloopy Hammerite gets, that must be a bugger to clean afterwards.

No not many but that was at our local B&Q I wanted silver but had to make do with Black for the moment will have to check the website to see what the range is, I know they do white and blue, smooth black and hammered black.

Hopefully you only have to give it a wipe after use as it uses cans with a special nozzle they have electrical connections in the holder to charge the paint.

Oh right, it's a cartridge of paint that you throw away after use then, not like a conventional spray gun can that you have to clean after every colour.
