a small request. we have a 4.6 litre rover v8 trike in the shop . it was fitted with a bw35 auto box. which has eaten itself. it is not a viable repair job due to the amount of damage.

my question is would a later bw65 box fit?

i know it will fit the engine but what about the length?

trike has a jag irs fitted with a 14" long propshaft.

any info would be a great help

i dont know the answer, but i was told that some range rovers where fitted with the chrysler 727 auto box, might be worth looking into as its a much better/stronger box than the bw65.
