Taz & I had to nip down to the Guildford sorting office today to pick up a parcel, (thanks Dave Satan Wink).
It faces onto a canal bank, known as WoodBridge Meadow. The local council are funding an arts project there at the moment, involving local artists' sculptures. Chainsaw wood carvings.

They've had a mixed reaction -some find them intriguing, others think they're a waste of money. Certainly different though.

the green  tree huggers wont be happy if the trees were cut  up just for arts sake but that reminds me of a tee shirt i saw   there would be more of the enviroment to save if the vegetarians would stop eating it

They are cutting trees down along the embankment to make better grass land and improve it. Think they were just using them for the art project untill they are removed in a couple of weeks.
