I've linked it to the calendar for you Rose.

Is it at the Cricketers in Eastleigh as normal?

Taz & I were at the Cricketers pub in Eastleigh, near Southampton today for the S/hampton MAG bike show.

Southampton MAG show

A nice little, laid back show this one. Lots of familiar faces & bikes, some trade stalls, a barbeque & maybe the last chance for a get-together before the Autumnal British weather starts turning more Wintery.
Thanks to Rose, (Nannyogg on this 'ere forum), & all the other MAG stalwarts for all their hard work.

Rose insists that was donation money in that tin & not biscuits -honest.  Grin

Rainbow was there on her new Kwaka, & so was Simon, ("Muffin" on the forum), on his MMMotors Reliant. Been trying to pin him down for a write-up on it all Summer but he's been busy riding the damn thing. It's promised in the next couple of weeks.

Thankgoodness that you did'nt have your camera handy Taz when you first arrived (burger !). Now for a little bit about the Southampton MAG bike show. I suggested restarting the shows back up again after a couple of years relapse . The first Bike show that i helped out with was the ocean village one organised by The original mag group back some 12-14 years ago, Then some of those mag members became a side patch and so the following year saw the show run by the Road warriers with me helping them once again. Then Beaulieu decided to start up their bike shows, this saw the end of the ocean village ones.I wanted to start the shows up for two reasons one to raise awareness about mag and the second for my own selfish reasons thus being that i enjoy seeing bikers having a great time no matter who or what they are (back , side patch, black ,white english, non english etc etc). 2000- 2002 saw about 50 bikers turn up and only about three of us organising the events,Now we have a brilliant working team and a great turn out .The money raised for mag yesterday was £234 clear profit for Mag's fighting fund.Am of now to rest my weary old bones after spending two nights and days doing the sun dance !!!! nannyogg. I used to do the Ocean Village shows Rose. Remember the fashion show you lot put on one year? A chorus line of ruffty tuffty bikers onstage doing the TimeWarp?! Must be a while ago cos I remember AWOL magazine having a stall there.

Sorry I couldn't make it this time Rose, I went to the Jesters instead and then on to do an 80 mile charity run.
