I haven't got a clue what we have and what we need so I really don't know Dave.

Went over to Johns today to have a look at the old gal and she's back out of the shed and being stripped and sanded off ready for the underseal and oxyprime coating. Some bits are ready to go back on. Will be done completely in the next week or 2. Quite funny as there were parts of my car all over the workshop so had to hunt them down.
It suits me that things are a little behind as with my back being bad I haven't managed to sort out the garage where it's going to go.

Got to do lots of saving.
The cheap n cheerful, beat up, raggedy ol' muscle car we'd originally envisaged has become more than we ever thought it would
...more expensive, more stressful...
Trouble was, once we got into serious body repairs, we had to decide between just bodging it enough to get it drivable, or doing the job properly. John & the team at JC Restorations are proper restorers. They don't mess about. They don't bodge. They don't come cheap.
We've paid off our bill but it's taken some serious financial commitment. Let's just say I've had mortgages for less than Taz's Charger has cost -& there's still a hell of a long way to go.
Next step is to get the beast home -& her car. Then it's paintjob, engine rebuild, suspension, steering, brakes, glass, interior....
Can't wait for that first turn of the key & Taz rumbling off up the road in her very own '69 Charger. It'll be worth every minute & every penny.  Cool
