The cheap n cheerful, beat up, raggedy ol' muscle car we'd originally envisaged has become more than we ever thought it would
...more expensive, more stressful...
Trouble was, once we got into serious body repairs, we had to decide between just bodging it enough to get it drivable, or doing the job properly. John & the team at JC Restorations are
proper restorers. They don't mess about. They don't bodge. They don't come cheap.
We've paid off our bill but it's taken some serious financial commitment. Let's just say I've had mortgages for less than Taz's Charger has cost -& there's still a hell of a long way to go.
Next step is to get the beast home -& her car. Then it's paintjob, engine rebuild, suspension, steering, brakes, glass, interior....
Can't wait for that first turn of the key & Taz rumbling off up the road in her very own '69 Charger. It'll be worth every minute & every penny.
