We are Steve. The car's in the best possible hands & although paying the bill's a struggle, in the long run it'll be worth every penny.
John's a very straight talking guy. He doesn't mince his words & tells you exactly what he thinks, good or bad. No bad thing.
From the start he's been telling us just how cr*p our car was, how much needed cutting off & throwing away, how it'd never be a show winner, but would at least be solid & driveable when they were through with it.
Today he offered to buy the car off us for the 6 grand we paid for it!

He said, no offence, but it's a shame this car's in your hands now, cos you can't afford to give it the level of finish it deserves to do the bodywork justice -! We know what he means though. It's gone from the ugly duckling that everyone told us to just scrap because it wasn't worth repairing, to the swan that everyone's admiring & can't wait to see on the road.
The guys at the workshop are very impressed with the quality of the pattern panels. They were certainly worth investing in & should last
another 40 years.

Here Taz compares the new drivers side door jamb, (B pillar), panel with the old.
