I wasn't looking at it as scrap value, A new bonnet for a Charger must be a small fortune. Its a large item at small cost even if it needs some work doing to it.

A quick update:
I've just had a couple of text messages from Noah, the guy who bought the Charger. I've often wondered what happened to it, but didn't like to ask in case he's sold it, or it's turned into a complete mechanical nightmare.
He tells me it's in the paintshop & the engine's being rebuilt -which is fantastic news. I'm really pleased he's pushed on with it cos he was so enthusiastic about buying his "dream car".
This is a sample of the paint colour -metallic grey with a hint of olive green, so pretty close to Tanya's vision for it.
He's promised me photos when it comes back from the paintshop.

And here it is.
Noah's just emailed me these snaps of Taz's Charger, fresh from the paintshop. Painted by a mate in Denham -I think that's a place, not a fashion choice. Really made my day to receive these.
I notice there's an R/T badge on the grille now. He asked if we'd uprated the rear axle at all. We hadn't got that far into the build, so maybe he's planning some tuning work on the engine.
I'm so pleased it went to a good home.  Smiley

Just a thought - maybe it's time to rename this thread?

Something like 'Noah's 69 Dodge Charger' for instance?  - if it were me putting the work in I'd find it irritating that the thread title is under someone else's name!  Wink

That would only change the title on the very first post Bobbi. The rest would still show Tazet's Charger -& I'm not going through 83 pages, changing each post individually! Noah doesn't read this forum anyway.
I went to a muscle car meet a couple of years ago & there were 5 "General Lees" there. Hardly standing out from the crowd & being individual is it.
