Popham Mega Meet

A really pleasant afternoon out amongst the Tiger Cubs, Bantams & Flying Squirrels. Great to see so many ancient bikes still being ridden & enjoyed as they were meant to be.

Bumped into Postie Dave, cutting a swathe through the crowds with his latest aquisition -a 50s push along lawnmower. I reckon we should've cut "Manky Monkey Motors" into the grass of the carpark. Mind you, the trail of neatly mown grass leading back to his Consul might've been a bit of a give away as to the culprits!

Like a lot of other bike events this Summer, security was tight.

Or how about this -looked to be built from a pair of JAP singles. Very tidy & sounded gorgeous.

We were treated to a very low level fly-past by a WW2 Hurricane. What a stunning machine.
