A Question
«

What does the panel think-
about using two mountain bike shocks on the front of mine. I was going to fit a monoshock off a trailie, but it is too long.
I have looked at some push bike shocks on the net, and they average at 650 lbs and 170mm long.
Two of them side by side would be 1300 lbs and should hold it up, shouldn't they?
Below is a quick sketch with one big shock.

They would look good but what about the stress when under hard braking and fully
loaded would the actual shock mounts be up to the job have you thought about a shock of somthing like a ZX10 Kawasaki they are short and gas filled as are most sport bike shocks hope this help but its only my opinion

Funny you said that, as I was thinking about them just before I went to slep last night, and looked them up on the net just now. They look like they might do the job so I'm going to nip to our local breakers later on.
