does any one know if u can buy the sliders separately from the calipers and iff so how much would they be

Don't know if you can get new ones, I got mine from a breakers yard cost 20 quid.

Mouse tried his local VW main dealer for the rubbers on the sliders, (mine were perished). They told him they weren't available seperately, only as part of a complete slider/hanger assembly. 62 quid each plus VAT.
Biggred recondition calipers & may well be able to sell you a recon pair. They supplied a complete caliper rubber kit for mine for 20 quid.

I was watching a complete new pair of calipers & sliders on Ebay last week. Started at 50 quid & ended at over 100.

thanks for that manky just trying to work out what is the best way off going about this whether i buy a pair off calipers and then get them recond or try to find some recon ones  how was sunny york ?did u need your passport to get up hear we live about 18 miles away so go to york quite frequently

O.K, so that's you, Madron & FLC we have to visit when we go back!
We're still looking for a set of Golf calipers for Taz's trike so will probably end up trying the local scrappys.
