HOW much??!!!
Tazzie reckons that's not a bad price. I suppose not, compared to other classic vehicles of it's age, but I'm with you. Buy a couple of big Yanks for the same price.
She says can you buy her a Dodge Charger with the change please.  Wink
Or how about buying Matt's V Dub, currently sat outside Loony's workshop.  Smiley

I know all the VW campers command ridiculous prices when restored - there's place near us that does nothing else.  And I guess this one has rarity value as well.

It does look good as new though doesn't it?  I'd love a VW camper but I don't think they ever did an automatic.

That is a bit steep in my opinion. High teens would be more like it, but if someone wants to pay that for it!  They arent rare enough to maintain their prices though, once the madness stops the prices should fall again.
B.G the only auto campers were the bay window ones and later, or you could do what I plan to do and mid mount a chevy V8 with an auto box intead! Cool

£26K.... Shocked

That was the whole reason I gave up the VW in the late 90's

Buying spares from breakers just became really silly.
