http://www.norwayround.co.uk/In June 2008, myself (Julia Baker) and a team of three other motorcycle riders will be attempting a gruelling 2,500 mile ride across Europe in aid of two charities, Sheffield Children’s Hospital Charity and Weston Park Hospital Cancer Appeal.
We’ll be setting off on Wednesday 11 June 2008 from our workplace in Sheffield, South Yorkshire and heading down to Dover where we’ll catch the ferry to Calais. From Calais we’ll ride through France, Belgium, Holland, Germany, Czech Republic, Denmark and, finally, Norway where we’ll board a ferry to Newcastle for the last leg of the trip back to Sheffield.
We are looking for help towards financing the cost of the ride and would be grateful for free or discounted fuel, travel insurance, breakdown cover, ferry crossings, accommodation, food etc.
