All The Broken Soldiers, a song written for The Royal British Legion's 'The Broken Covenant' campaign can now be downloaded from the Royal British Legion Riders branch website at the link below.

Ahh, the beauty of the internet. However infuriatin' all things computers can be, they are a modern day marvel. We arrived at the studio at 19.45 an' the song was recorded an' mixed by 21.30 last nite, 20 minutes later I was playin' it live in the celler bar of the buildin' next door at Southill Park Arts Centre in Bracknell. An' this mornin' you can download it.

The chap playin' 'Sunset' at the end of the song is Dave Godfrey, a bandsman from Old Basing RBL an' is the brother in law of Rick Bourne who played drum on Lest We Forget. Because of the key the song is in he couldn't use a bugle, so he borrowed a trumpet instead. Job done.

All The Broken Soldiers will only be available as a download from the RBLR website.

There are additional buttons on that page where you can make a small donation to the Poppy Appeal for the download.

Many thanx. Have a great weekend an' if you're at the Ace Cafe on Sunday for the Remembrance Service I'll see you there. I'll also be playin' there Saturday evenin' too.

Another classic Stevie.
Won't be able to attend the Ace service as Tanya & I will be at her local village one, but hope all goes well. I know it's not a time for taking snaps, but if you do, we'd love to see them here.
