Looks a bit flimsy to me not a bad design tho' could be made better.

I know nuffink about them either, but personally I'd say it looks tidy & nicely welded with a lot more thought put into the design & aesthetics of the thing than a lot I've seen -but I reckon it could do with being a lot beefier. Looks kinda spindly. Looking at the mounting points, once the engine's in there's gonna be a lot of empty space around it.
I'm not sure about the single front down tube -I'd want two I think, one running down to each front corner of the frame to spread the load a bit more. Same with the swinging arm -I'd want to spread the stresses by making the pivot wider & rethinking the shock positioning. To fit the prop shaft, the back of the gearbox would have to sit very high to clear the swing arm pivot so the engine would sit high in the frame too.
I'd also want to brace the whole frame a lot more -triangular gussets, 3 or 4 inches long at the junctions of the major frame tubes. How does that axle clamp work? Is it a split block with the rear section unbolting & pulling out from the back?
Nice to see something a little different with a bit of thought put into it, but I'd say it needs to be beefed up a bit.

My weekend off!
The Post Office have finally realised they need to do something to clear the backlog of mail, so I was out delivering till 4 in the afternoon yesterday. Taz finished work early & came over to give me a hand for the last hour or so. We got back to my flat & fell asleep till late evening. Woke up & were wide awake when we should've been going to bed. Drove to Taz's cottage for the weekend & stopped off at the 24 hour Tescos to do our shopping at gone midnight.
Up bright & early tomorrow to drive to Sheffield for the NSRA swapmeet.
