just a bell housing and clutch, output shaft mated to prop flange and off you go. I'm sure that someone will know but I had a feeling that the T9 Ford box had a seperate bellhousing, possibly with a carrier bearing. Downside is no reverse and needing to hold the clutch in all the time the engines running and you don't want to be (no neutral) I guess that that could be overcome with a hydraulic system and line lock and a great deal of faith. An inhibitor switch on the starter circuit would also be a fairly good idea.

Advert says it's road legal but it's not - not if the V5 says Robin reliant cos it's Ford engine.
£500 starting price? I should coco.

I was going to mention that and then went back for another look and now I can say, there's not a Reliant bit on it.

Nothing wrong with the basic idea -though personally I wouldn't fancy riding it in heavy traffic with just a clutch pedal to control it's momentum -it's the build quality of that Ebay one that concerns me. Not sure it'd make it to the end of the garden & back, let alone out on the open road. Not being legally registered, it'd need a complete rebuild to comply with MSVA regs. A challenging project but not one I'd want to undertake.

Yeah, you could do a lot with 500 quid. Buy 1000 WagonWheels for example.

A heap of Reliant parts & 600 Wagon Wheels -that'd keep me busy for a couple of days.
