I really shouldn't be let loose in garages unsupervised! Good job evolution isn't quicker or I'd be extinct in a week.
My mate Dennis turned up today to cajole me into doing some work on my much neglected trike frame. I've hardly touched it all summer. Been too busy out & about on various bikes at various shows. Riding season's drawing to a close now though so time to knuckle down & build stuff. We've set the Shepton Mallet Bike Show in early May as the date when we're determined to have ALL the projects sorted & on the road at the same time! Hmm, think we said that LAST year too!
Got several Manky trike projects on the go here in Basingstoke. They've all been featured on another site but I need to sit down & document them here soon. Will be less show reports over the Winter & more build stuff.
So anyway, today I welded in strengthening gussets to the hardtail section of my trike frame. Managed to grab hold of a hot bit as I moved the frame around on the bench. OW, Ow, Oww!! How many times have I done that! I never learn. Working on Flap's tomorrow then maybe mine again on Sunday.

When Flap & I clubbed together & bought the welder a couple of years ago we bought a pair of big red thick welding gloves each. Never used 'em. Stoopid Monkies.

Our garages are all knee deep in rubbish. We're lucky to find the trikes let alone gloves.
