Masters of Menace is really funny, its about a gang of bikers who have to repatriate one of their brother's body back to his home state, and its got Catherine Bach out of the real Dukes of Hazzard in it as well as cameo appearances by people by Dan Ackroyd, John Candy and James Belushi.

Got Easy Rider on DVD if you want it Yodie. No use to me -I don't own a TV. Was bought it by an old girlfriend. One of those films we're expected to have in our collections because it's a "classic" but it's actually bloody boring. Some nice riding shots & great 60s soundtrack but that's about it.
Got a DVD copy of American Graffiti too. Now that WAS a good film. The one they based Happy Days on. Not only great for car & rock 'n' roll fans but a good story well acted too. By the way Yodie, I emailed you a link to a hotrod site today that includes a photo of the truck the cast are shown driving in the opening titles of Happy Days.
Erm, bike films...does Natalie Imbruglia riding a neon pink Triumph Speed Triple in Rowan Atkinson's "Johnny English" count? (got that on DVD too!).
Can honestly say The World's Fastest Indian is probably the best bike film I've ever seen. Deserves to become a classic.

Easy Rider hasnt held up well but it was a bit of a pivotal point in chopper culture. Saw the Captain America bike (or one of them) at the Art of the Harley exhibition in London some years ago and its surprising how ugly and unbalanced it is. Billy's Pan was the far better bike.
The worst biker film in the world has got to be 'Psychomania'. Truly awful British film from the early 70s with Beryl Reid as a mum who makes a pact with the Devil to bring her biker son and his mates back from the dead.

Jack Nicholson was in several Biker films before Easy Rider wasn't he -Angels 69 & the like. I remember the Psychomania one -a sort of Hammer Horror type effort. What was that Aussie one called? "Stone"?
The World's Fastest Indian is much more accessible to the general public. A well told human interest story, not just a parade of bikes & biking stereotypes. Definitely felt like it had been made by an enthusiast though. Lots of snippets of info tucked away in the script & period detail. Very nicely done. I'd recommend it -& not just cos I got to see it for free!
Following Yodie as he rampaged around Soho was an interesting experience!

 Couldn't believe it -they grinned & gave us directions! He asked the dodgiest bloke he could find, lurking on a darkened street corner as well -was given directions & waved off with a cheery "Welcome to London"! The people of Soho are a jolly friendly lot you know!
