After helping out a friend recently by fitting an exhaust box, Dave was paid back rather handsomely with a box of bits and.......a steel sunvisor this week. As you can imagine it was fitted as soon as we got home. What a difference it makes, even I don't squint in the sun anymore. In the box of bits was a towbar which apparently is for my consul ...... is my female sense telling me something?

Or slamming it to the deck, de-chroming it & bunging in a slightly bigger motor?

I spose the fins would be ok if they didn't look like they were stuck on with superglue..........

Exactly bikerGran. Just what I thought.
Unfortunately for you custom-isers out there, I like things to be left original, but now the visor is on Connie (Daves consul), he's beginning to like the idea of cosmetically customising her. As he's always been into the hot rod/custom car scene, and now he has his licence under his belt, well there seems no stopping him!

Woo hoo! When he puts the V8 in, can I have the old motor for my Pop? It'll save me rebuilding the spare. How'd the welding practice go yesterday Janie?

That's the idea, but whether Daves welding will be up to it.

Probably a damn sight tidier than the lousy job I made of the other side. If his side turns out better I'll claim it was mine!
