Janie...Type in b & b in the Madeley and Ironbridge areas,it's about 3/4 of an hour from Birmingham.Madeley will come under Telford Shropshire and Ironbridge could either be under Telford Shropshire or just Shropshire.There might even be b & b at the venue i'm waiting to see what the new owners are going to be doing as theres 6-8 rooms there,i'll keep you posted..lol..no pun intended

IronBridge is a beautiful area. Rode my last trike around there last time I nipped up to visit Retro, who lives in Telford. I've also borrowed his Sportster for a blast round there in the past. Won't be able to make your bash Willy, but will be there in spirit!  |

MMM What can i say...Was a good night,my mom couldn't make it due to a chest infection,the pub had a singer on so the entertainment didn't cost me anything he was a local bloke ''Nick Carling'' he sings the usual pub singer stuff 50-80's you know what i mean elvis,motown etc..no rock though...there was quite a few there family,friends etc..was a shame no one of any of the forums turned up,i fell off a stool ''sober of course lol'' had a good selection of cards.The cards all seemed to have a beer related theme''what is everyone trying to say''.I don't think there is any incriminating photos,well thats of yet still early yet though,if anyone comes up with any i will post them.All in all a good night was had by all.Will do the same again next year....cheers....Willy

Really sorry Willy, haven't had a chance to send you Burfday Greetings. We were at a hotrod shop open evening last night & didn't get to bed till 2 in the morning, then had to be up early today to attend a Remembrance Day service. So a belated HAPPY BIRTHDAY mate. Glad it all went so well. Gotta watch those pub stools -they get very unstable after you've had a few! Happy Birthday Willy.  |
