hi, have been thinking about using the standard 15" steel rims, but would like to split them in half, well 75% & 25% and weld the two 75% "halves" together, ***yes one would have the valve in Wink Roll Eyes***
Any one up for splitting them on a lathe? Not sure what size they will be until I find some cheap wide tyres though, this trike has to be built on a tight budget Roll Eyes Smiley

Yeah. We were in North Hants Tyres, a well known supplier of custom & vintage tyres & wheels, in Aldershot last week & they sold aerosols of rim sealant.
