Grin Variety's the spice of life n all that Chewie.
I think it'd look better with shorter, straighter bars, but we're limited by the rest of the trike that they have to clear. Plus Taz has to be able to reach them, so short bars are out really. That's quite a chunky front end & although it doesn't really matter once you're rolling, the extra leverage will be a big help when Taz is paddling it around carparks.
Steve, I dare you to call her that to her face! -I wouldn't.  Tongue

Oh yeah, you say that now.  Tongue
Handlebar risers welded & smoothed out by hand -yeah, it takes forever. No, I haven't got a super dooper machine to do it with.
No, I don't actually use my hands. I use a file.

I think the bars will look very different when they have grips on, they're just a bit nekkid at present!

I think it's just the angle of the photo also the other side has the brakes etc so looks a bit more filled in if you get my drift.

I tried angling the handlebars higher but it was just not comfortable also this thing is quite big and to be able to reach I had to have them bent like that. If it was someone taller then yes you probably would get away with higher straighter bars on it. You'll see it at Basing so all will become clearer as it's hard to show everything in photos.

I did see it and it looks gorgeous!  Love it in bare metal, be a shame to paint it!
