Don't worry Shriva -we're not quite that soulless!
Mind you, I've seen a General Lee replica on a motorway over here towing an airstream caravan.
As Taz says, if we did, it'd be one of those that clips into a socket hidden under the bumper & would only be used so we could transport both her vehicles to shows, (they'll have matching grey paintjobs). Might do something similar with my pick-up truck so I can tow my trike too. Between us we'll have enough vehicles for our own little show!

 Grin
I don't even want an interior in it, let alone towing accessories -just a roll cage & two 60s bucket seats if I had my way.
Loony & his parents came over to take a look at the trike & Charger this morning. They hadn't seen either before so gave them both quite a few coats of lookin' at. Loony's Dad, Dave, who owns Physcho Triko, the VW trike in the Motors section of the main site, reckoned it wasn't as bad as we'd made out -he also owns a Firebird that's awaiting restoration. Loony thought the prices we've been quoted for straightening the twisted chassis aren't that bad given the amount of work involved. I think they all liked Taz's trike so far. Hope so anyway.
Loony's borrowed my welder for a few days, (got some welding to do at a friend's house & mine's more portable than his), so I'll potter about bending a few bits of tube for Taz's, then get stuck into hand-filing the mudguard struts for my own trike.

Taz has been in charge of the catering for a shooting party here on the estate today, so I've been left to my own devices for the afternoon. Without the welder all I could do was hacksawing & filing, so I made a start on the loop around the back of the saddle. I've run out of tube & need to buy another length, so used up a couple of offcuts. Couldn't quite get a smooth bend over the saddle, so will butt weld the tubes together, then shave the pointy top off & blend it in. I'll fill the gaps under the sides of the seat with another couple of fillets of tube. Running the loop that high around the back of the seat also hides the "Corbin" manufacturer's label stitched into the side -I hate labels on things. The idea was to try & incorporate the seat into the frame so it looks a part of the overall design & not just something we picked up cheap at an autojumble.

Doesn't show here but I've cut a scallop out of the left tube so it fits tighter to the seat. I'll do the same to the right hand toob. Maybe it needs a second bend in either side to completely follow the line of the seat, but I kinda like it as it is.

I agree, i like it too. As you say, with another tube angled down the sides of the seat, it will have a built in look to it.

Grin That's weird! exactly what Manky suggested! If the Charger's boot was 2 feet longer and the trike 2 feet shorter then maybe.  Grin

Grin I need to check I can still actually fit the seat once the tubes are welded in place. It has a hook under the front which just pushes into the open end of a tube at the moment, (I'll do something tidier with that once I'm happy with it all). One small chrome mounting tab on the back, directly under the point those two tube offcuts meet. That's only screwed to the underside of the seat so I can take it off & make a new one to suit. So the seat needs to go in nose first, pushing the hook thingy into place, then dropping the back down. Got to make sure I don't make it so snug that it won't fit back in.

Just faffing about in the shed, waiting for Taz to get home from work. I've scalloped out the inside faces of the 2 tubes to follow the curve of the seat. Still needs a bit more taken out yet though.
I'll butt-weld the tubes together, but will still add a slug of offcut tube between them just to keep them square to each other. Once they're welded together I'll slice off the pointy top & blend it into something resembling a curve.

Once that's welded in place I'll fill in the sides with a short section of straight tube. Maybe they need to run uphill towards the back to follow the line of the bottom hardtail tubes.

All of which creates a new problem- I was going to add the same small built-in luggage platform as our previous trikes. Can't though cos it'd end up way too high if it butts into the back of the seat frame & too wide if it comes off the hardtail either side. I want to tie the 2 axle clamps together with a loop of some sort as I normally do, but need to have a play with it to see what will work.
The number plate will bolt to the back of the diff, same as mine. We've got a tubular number plate light which needs to mount above it somehow. A few more coats of looking at I think.  Smiley
