And it's OURS!
...well. once we've paid for it anyway.
Bugger, now we've got to build the rest of the trike as good as the forks.  Sad

We're due to nip oop North to collect 'em next Sunday -anyone else in the area we can drop in on for a cuppa while we're there? (York).
Never ridden a trike -or anything else, with girders before, so should be an interesting experience! Next job will be to narrow the rear axle to accomodate the big fat rear wheels then we'll be ready to start on the frame. Grin
The shock's an old XS1100 Yam one, just to set the forks up with. We'll either buy a new pair of the same or go to someone like Hagon for a one-off one with the right spring rate. It's 12 inches between the mounting eyes. The wheel's a 15 inch Yam VMax rear one, (we'll fit a new 140/90R15 front tyre on it). The fork legs are 1 inch diameter & spaced 9 1/2 inches apart. Hopefully Mick will be able to radius all the sharp corners on the square linking rods. If not it'll be another job for Taz & I & the trusty hand file.
That's as much as I know at the moment! I've got a spare side-mount 5 1/2 inch Bates headlight sat on the shelf in the shed so we'll use that, but mount it from the bottom yoke on a U shaped round bar bracket, tucked in as tight to the spring as we can. Haven't thought about a mudguard yet, but when we do it'll be minimal & black. The fork assembly & light will all be gloss grey. As we're going for a heavy duty agricultural sort of look, blingy chrome would look out of place, so everything will be powder-coated gloss grey or black or left in plain aluminum or stainless where appropriate.
