NOOOOO!! I'm not anywhere near good enough to get this right.
It's a double wishbone affair with a chain diff.
I only have a drill press and no idea about how to use it.

John has a fully kitted out workshop and is a proper engineer, I'm just a tubby bloke with all the gear and no idea.

I intend to do the odd quarter mile on this and might even get the engine sorted for a bit of drag racing.

John did a trike for a mate of mine for drag racing and it's awesome. If I'm going to risk my life and chubby limbs on the thing it has to be done right.

It's going to be built in the black by John and we'll test it on a closed road.
Then back to my house to strip it down for powdercoat and polishing.

I'm not building it but I am doing the final assembly.

Thats the plan anyway Grin Wink

Regards

I will MM no worries.

Went for my last ride on it as a bike yesterday. Took a ride to Leek Via Long Hill and passed the "Winking Man". Gave him a wave at about warp 4.

It's a great bit of road with short straights, hairpins ans S bends. A brilliant road for my last ride out as a bike riding biker. I had a blast but was completely shattered when I got there. Took me 20 minutes just to get a bit of feeling in my right leg.

John added lowering the pegs for me to the list of jobs, hopefully with the Renthals and lowered pegs I won't be in agony every time I ride the trike.

I have loved every minute of owning my GSXR and had some magic moments riding it but it's time to see sense and get onto 3 wheels full time. I can't wait to roll my trike out and have some fun. Onmce this is done that really will be it for building things.
Time to enjoy life and go riding a lot.

Not as yet but no doubt I will be doing over the next couple of months, John has asked me if I'd like to help do some of the fabrication. Being a bit of a sponge when it comes to learning new stuff I jumped at the chance.

More as it transpires.

Bloody marvelous. got a set of spax adjustable dampers to fit on the trike. As new all for the princely sum of £43-00 delivered.

Well chufffed they useually cost 100 notes apeice.

Not got the springs yet as we don'y know what the spring rate is until the unsprung weight is all worked out.

It's a start. The rear subframe is being made at the mo.

More after.

Rear wing for the trike.

£40 notes delivered. It's a real wing too and may provide a bit of downforce but I'm only fitting it cos it'll look phat!!

Oh and to wind all the little knobs in hot hatches  up when I leave them for dead. Teach the swine to roar up and down my street with straight through pipes all night.
