I'm not sure about the history of the Marcos, but this one is I'm told a genuine factory built one and not a kit put together in a shed/garage.....

I was going to tell you about my recent time in the workshop, but now I'm going to sulk Angry Angry Angry Angry

not really Grin Grin Grin

I'm slowly mastering the art of the mig welder, and last sat I welded in the one of the new custom inner sill's. I would have taken a picture but I left the camera at home  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes the lower cab back is also welded in place but will need some cutting once I have refitted the engine/box and worked out the run of the prop.

more to follow Wink

Slowly slowly catchy monkey  Tongue or so they say  Wink
I'm planning on spending all day sat up the barn working on the Pop, hope to have both inner sills welded in and then I can cut away the bracing frame and refit the engine and box and start the fab of the bulkhead.

I'm slightly stressed at the moment and will be taking my lump hammer with me and beat the living s**t out of any metal that doesn't work with me  Angry Angry Angry

photo's will follow Grin Grin Grin

well I finally got some time up the barn, not that much achieved but all the job's I have been doing are fiddly little things that take ages but don't really show Roll Eyes Roll Eyes
Mocked her up on her wheels today, rear chassis is sitting on wooden blocks and is tied to the rear axle to get the stance right. Engine refitted and measurements taken, she will have around 6 inches under the sills and be around 57.5 inches to the top of the roof.
Also made a template of the new bulk head and made a start cutting it out.
Here are a couple of tasters  Grin Grin Grin

Looking good Shauny.  Cool
We displayed ours at the Basingstoke Festival of Transport today in a very similar condition. Got huge amounts of interest from Joe Public. We really need to get these things on the road soon mate!

Are you tempted to take a slice out of the grille-shell to give a slight downward slope to the bonnet-top?
