Carpe diem!

I had an E mail from a guy supposedly based in Scotland, offering spares from an Alta Suzuki that he was " wrecking, his terminology, not mine. Finding this intriguing, I replied inquiring as to what he had, and his repost was to ask me for a list of my requirements. So far, not particularly strange you might think, however, the attached pick he supplied, of the Alta that was being stripped, was of........my own Alta, taken in my own front garden, some years ago, and supplied to an American specialist 'bike web site, to assist a guy in the US with a rebuild! so there you go, caveat emptor friends,  Huh..Morrag. ps. I have owned this Alta since 1972!

There are some real low-lifes out there -but what were the chances they'd pick the very guy that owned it to try & dupe?!

Considering how many, or rather how few Alta owners there are now, probably quite high.  Smiley
