He was at the Anvil Theatre here in Basingstoke a couple of weeks ago.
Not sure who I'd nominate as best comedian these days.
They're all too political or too blue for my taste. I like comedy quiz panel shows like Mock the Week or QI, but most of the guests are either massively left wing, (I'm not political at all but some balance would be nice), or have to mention that they're gay in every answer they give, or turn every comment into a cheap sexual innuendo, (my Dad always said You can tell a bad comedian because they have to tell blue jokes to get a laugh).
I like I'm sorry I haven't a clue & The news quiz on Radio 4 too.
I don't think I could even name most modern comedians.

No, I never found them funny. I like Michael McIntyre. Saw him at the BIC in Bournemouth. Took my Mum. He was very good but even he used the F word. Shocked us really as he's so tame on TV but at least he wasn't as bad as Frankie Boyle though.  Shocked  Cheesy

I used to love Michael Mackintyre but I think he's had his day,  He's not nearly as funny now he has his own show.

Never done anything as funny as 'Five Spice'.

Frankie Boyle is absolute pants, never knew what people saw in him. Tried reading his book, it went in the bin...
