I remember Malcolm doing that in an old Ogri cartoon. Ogri flatted his casing on a sheet of glass. Malcolm used glass from a bathroom window -with a raised pattern on it Smiley

In Bike magazine's Ogri cartoon strip, Paul Sample hardly ever drew the frame of a motorcycle.
Apparently one of his trade marks.

I had an original Continental GT, 250, lovely red. From brand new it leaked oil. In the end after a year of arging, I got a brand new one in exchange, 3 monthes down the road it started doing the same. Quick gunking and swapped it in for a lovely oil tight Honda. Seems Enfield were reknown for the leaks

Wouldn't be a proper Brit if it didn't leak oil!

Check out the Motorbike show on Tuesday 17th Nov 2020 on ITV4 as there's a feature with Paul Sample.

Always fancy building something with an Enfield single, due to the simplicity and availability of parts, typically I've never found a motor for sale Cheesy Cheesy
