Repair Shop

Anyone watching the new run of "The Repair Shop" on BBC1 at 4.30 pm Mon. to Fri.which started last week and can be viewed on I Player if missed. whilst not of a motoring ilk, it does show some excellent craftsmen/ craftswomen at work, and is a place that Dave, aka "Olds", would fit in well! worth a watch, really, for all those who admire expertise and dexterity!! ..Morrag

An excellent series filmed at the Weald and Downland Living Museum
Are you suggesting that I should be in a museum morrag ?  

It's a pity that they don't go into more detail about some of the work and processes, but it's an entertaining program, showcasing the sort of work that is still done by some and not many folk would be interested in the preparation of pearl glue for veneering or the making of a rubber for french polishing etc.
