Although we no longer have a pitch at the Basingstoke show, it's still a damn good event & completely free.
Well worth a look if you're in the area.

The Memorial Park,
Basingstoke,
Hants
RG21 4AG.

I might. Or I might spend the day working on my own vehicle.
After, what, 12 years maybe, of having a pitch there, it's kinda nice not to have to do it, (not that I didn't enjoy it). I'll probably wander over at some point during the day as I'll still know people there & like to support local events, but this year I won't have to be there first & leave last Smiley

I was thinking of driving down to Brighton for the vintage commercial vehicle meet, but it's about 2 hours drive away, so I should've got gone about an hour & a half ago! So I'll probably take a walk over to the Memorial Park in a while. That'll hopefully inspire me to spend the afternoon in the garage working on my truck Smiley

Saw Loony's Dad's Model A Ford & Chris's Dad's Suzuki sidecar outfit, both of which have been on our stand in the past.

I looked for us but we weren't there Sad Didn't seem the same without our crowd making the place look untidy.

It was still a good show, but I did think there were less vehicles there this year, (not just us).
