about 3 weeks back I ordered a full gasket set. It never arrived. So I ordered another one from Holland, 3 days it was on my porch ?? how can that be. Anyway I carried on and built the motor, all new gaskets and seals. Put the motor back in the frame, and then I have been struck down by some virus or other, so taking it easy for a few days. Today, the original gasket set turned up !! With a note saying, this came to us by mistake !!

 here for some things 😁
Ordinary letters take between 10 days to a month? 😥

Stinkey: no got my money back, so quids in.
Minimutly: Yep sat down, I'm feeling my age.
Manky: Chopper virus? sounds unpleasant.

I'm improving, but very dizzy, so staying put until the weather improves, the floods subside, the corona virus goes, and the sun pokes out for a glorious heatwave.

finally the bike is all together, all fed and ready. Lots of sparks, plenty of juice, but, no go Angry Kicked it, swore at it, had a cup of tea while looking at it but no go. Plugs out, timing checked, valve timing checked, no go. Walked away, came back, fiddled and it fired. it fires every time but will not run. Checked this boyer system all appears good. Just not sparks and fuel at the right moment. So I gave up. See to it tomorrow, fresh pair of eyes. My excuse anyway.

The frog lives 👍
Not having timing marks, I discovered I needed a lot more advance. So followed the Boyer instruction page on the web. And guesstimate the advance, and it ran. YIPPEE 😜

Andy, it went surprisingly well, unless I forgot. It nearly pulled my arms off at the junction. I gunned it up the steep hill to the factory units and it pulled very strong. I’m a happy chappy today.
Now to persevere with the red car, got my mojo back 😜
