Spotted this guy on the outskirts of Basingstoke about a week ago. I went past again today & he's still there, at Sherfield on Loddon, on the B/stoke to Tadley road.
I actually drove around the village to see if he was part of a scarecrow festival, but didn't see any others.
So I'm curious why he's there. The name badge on his suit says Major Leak, which presumably refers to the hole they found in the outer skin of the International Space Station last week -but why create this scene? Maybe the householders are related to someone onboard?

Maybe it was for a scarecrow event and they just left it up. It still looks good, so why not? I love the scarecrow events around here. You buy a map and then track each one down. I usually try to go around them with my grandsons. We've being doing that for quite a few years now. One is local and another really impressive turn out is about a 20 minute drive away. Sadly we didn't manage either this year but it's great to see the effort people make.

My sister lives in Nova Scotia, Canada & they have a pumpkin scarecrow festival. -which is fine while the pumpkins are fresh, but after a couple of weeks they start to rot. It's a little disturbing to see hordes of decomposing zombie pumpkin men around the town.
