Thanks for everyones input.
I've spent the last two days trying to move forward but still seem to end up in the same place, i've used different tube, been to the smithy's and used their new bending machine, made sure the formers fit absolutely snug and i'm still getting small indents on the inside bend and slight flattening on the outside, so the conclusion is that i'm being too fussy and tomorrow we are just going to get on and build it, sit back and look and decide if it really notices.
