ABS
« on: May 10, 2018, 10:54:39 AM »

Looking to possible next project, Honda ST1300.

The bikes supplied for UK have abs fitted. I would look to remove when converting to trike.

Is this doable?

Yes you can just by unplugging the sensor wires but it will put the abs light on the dash under new mot laws it will fail a test. Wink

That's easily sorted as the dash light could be done away with.

Or you could fit an abs ring to one side and it may work if speeds are near equal.

Interesting, however looking at the price for all the abs parts that are on the bike, I think I would like to simplify the installation.

Plus, the weight saving would be huge!

Plus plus if the abs isn't there it can't be tested.
