I'm looking for a 70's/80's type Honda lightweight or similar, petrol tank, to use on my pre war Velocette project, something loosely like this,so anyone have such a thing? Morrag

Most Honda XL, Suzuki TS etc tanks from the 70's in this country will have rotted out long ago. The steel was so thin. Might be easier too find something like a BSA D1 tank from the 50's in good condition.

Your probably right Dave, but it was more an example of size/style that I was describing, and with due deference to the "youngsters" on here who might not know what a D1 was!! Grin Grin...Morrag

What's a "petrol tank"? How do you plug it in to the charger? Smiley
