Yup, it's that time again. I've just received the entry form for this year's show.
So, what do we think? Are we up for it again?

Despite having one of the best days I've had in years (bringing along our projects) I/we most likely won't make it ?  My wife and my self may not even be here in the UK ? But you have to keep the tradition going Andy.. Wink

What's the date Andy?  Can't commit till I know that.  If it's ok, we'll do what we did last time - ccame up the night before and camped in the van at the Fox & Goose at Greywell - just the other side of the M3 but it feels like it's in the depths of the country, and there's nothing to pay as long as you use the pub for drinks and/or their very excellent but not expensive food.
If anyone's coming from a distance it's great!  (And even if like us, you just don't do getting up early!)

Sorry, I put the date in my original post but it seems to have disappeared! (posting from my SmartPhone, which has a habit of Auto Correcting everything).
Sunday the 13th of May '18.

But you don't do camping!  I don't think they have rooms.

I will say yes, but we are leaving for Laguna Seca on the 15th so Sue will be packing and cleaning. Don't for see any problems, but you never know.

Lucky you. That sounds fun. The holiday, not the packing and cleaning.  Smiley

Haven't been to the States for 10 years, it's a new event called Nitro Revival. Would have gone to the inaugural one in September at Barona, but time and money got in the way (lack of).

Wow. You gave the impression before going to NY, NY that you could take it or leave it. It seems you definitely took to it, tourist attractions and all!  Cheesy

Didn't I post any photos? I must've, surely?
Yes, I loved it. Very hot, (90 degrees), which isn't usually my thing, but I spent a week walking for 9 or 10 hours a day, just randomly, all over the place.
Very friendly city -I was out till 2 in the morning, all alone, & felt perfectly safe. Very clean. Very busy. Loads of quirky interesting stuff to see.
Next time I'd like to cross the water to Brooklyn as well.
