Well if you're driving the truck you'll have to trailer the bike!  Although I daresay you could find willing volunteers to pilot either!

Smiley Yeah, I can see me having to make 2 trips to the showfield.
If I'd wanted a tow hitch on the truck it should've been fitted & tested when it went for SVA, so I shouldn't tow with it. I know no-one would know, but with my luck I'd have an accident or get pulled over, so not worth the risk.
I have seriously thought of making some sort of ramp to load the bike on the back of the truck though, even leaving the pick-up bed off & bolting a rail to the chassis.
