I was going to do exactly that on my last trike -wireless bicycle Speedo with a separate light. I sold the trike to Mr BayChimp instead though, which solved the problem Smiley

I haven't been anywhere or done much for ages due to having a cat with a broken leg on cage rest.  He's better now but all the VW events are over now, except for an afternoon Cali Club meet I'm going to at West Bay on Saturday.

I've been to see ex forum member, Panther Shaun today.
He bought a Willy's jeep grille shell on eBay, without checking whereabouts the seller lived. Shaun's in Kent & the grille turned out to be in Worcestershire. So I was despatched from Hampshire to collect it on his behalf. The plan was for me to store it until he could come & get it, but once I was on the road back I decided I may as well carry on down to Tunbridge Wells & deliver it.
Nice to see him again.

Phil, the seller, had 2 jeeps, (one each for him & his wife), plus a Harley Sportster & a nice little hardtailed Suzuki Marauder 125.
Hampshire, Worcestershire, Kent, then back to Hampshire. Good job I enjoy road trips Smiley

Smiley I drove past the Highway Man pub & the Hot Air Balloon near Birdlip. Used to often stop there with the motorcycle club I belonged to in my teens & 20s. Brought back memories Smiley
