It's that time of year when things go quiet around here -no shows to go to, too cold for sitting in the shed -nobody's doin' nuthin'.
So are we all at home, slippers on, beer in hand, watching Strictly Talentless in the Jungle? Or is anyone still out there, doing stuff?
I'm still in my lock-up every afternoon, working on my truck & did a few jobs on my motorcycle this morning, but I'm quite glad when it gets too dark to work & I can go home again in the warm.
Is there anybody out there?

Here team leader.

Had a week of gathering materials and fittings to continue.

Same as you no electric in garages, so working until the rechargeable gives up the ghost for the day. Really should purchase another one.

Cut holes in a piece of 5mm plate to take fittings for mudguard stays, always a bit of a slow process with my little drill stand and under powered drill.

Not a lot to do on my build, fit mudguards and wire rear lights.

I've got a blackish grey axle and swing arm frame thanks to a chilly day. Should be satin black. Cheesy

I still visit the garage for at least an hour most evenings. Trying to organise it now the mill is installed, have to wire the garage up properly now too. Have 30 meters of armoured cable just need the will to sort it.
TRIKE was treated to a new exhaust a month or so ago, full stainless Delkevic, sounds like a Harris but needs a bit more silencing.

I bought one of these Chinese things:-
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/motorcycle-KPH-MPH-digital-odometer-speedo-22k-rpm-drag-race-trackday-project/321752560139?_trkparms=aid%3D444000%26algo%3DSOI.DEFAULT%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D49129%26meid%3D698a2dc3dcb1450496d5821bbe263101%26pid%3D100752%26rk%3D1%26rkt%3D4%26sd%3D321640680562&_trksid=p2047675.c100752.m1982
Now I need to make a bracket for it.

I'm still working in the garage, most days I'm over dressed and end up sweating, very unhealthy  Cheesy. But it gets cold and dark quick, so plan my day. Hacksaw and file brackets early, weld about lunch time, clean up and maybe paint afternoon. If its dry and bright I may get pulled into the garden to help the wife. Evenings is internet time.

Not doing a lot at the moment.  Only doing small projects that only take an hour or so to finish. That way I feel like I'm actually achieving something.

Well that clock I bought is truly a pile of poo, and the directions i got after chasing the seller for them are worse than poo. Currently it won't allow me to set miles over km, other settings I've managed to suss out. Now wondering if I can be bothered to make a bracket for it....

Don't bother with the speedo. If you see flashing blue lights behind you, you're going to fast. Roll Eyes

The annoying thing is that the pushbike one fitted when I bought it is fine, but it won't pass msva - it's not backlit. I had thought about making a cowl for it, with a clear led pointing down on it. Would that pass?
I could move the indicators and other leds into the same cowl. Rev counter, fuel gauge, coolant! temp not required. the damn thing doesn't have a neutral indicator, but I could use the parking light for that..
