Plymouth has always been a Citadel town, Royal Navy, Royal Marines, Commando training etc. So Friday night has always been "fight night" Naval provost, MOD police and the civvie guys wading in with their night sticks to stop another affray, . Just another Friday night. Nowadays not so bad, so imagine the shock when last night got christened "Black Eye Friday" seems more people get a shiner on the last work day leading up to Christmas then any other night.
