Hi Merv  i had two mini strokes or TIAs as they are known last Thursday, the first one at home at  11am the other in hospital as i got off the CT scan bed 4 hours later.                                                                                                                                                                                               They have not left me with any lasting "effects" ( if thats the correct word)  my mouth has regained its usual shape and my speech is back to normal, but they are keeping me in for an MRI scan tomorrow  as they think it could be linked to a painless migrain i had the Thursday before as i iost my periferrol  vision on my left eye during the migrain , i hope to be home Tuesday if the MRI shows nothing cheers Dave.

First: many thanks for the well wishes, had a quiet day, not even went in the mancave. However a good meal of shellfish and a monster piece of cod went down well, until I got a fishbone in the throat, cough splutter cough. My good wife being a country girl gave me some dry bread to eat and swallow in a big lump, hey presto, bone was gone, where I'm worried about, but was instant relief. I do love her when she comes to my rescue  Grin

Second: Hope all is well metal head, wishing you a speedy recovery. As for the hijacking, no worries. Good to know we have friends  Wink

Third: Sixty blinking six, never ever thought I would last this long. Middle aged I hope.

Hi Steve. Belated greetings. Sorry I missed it. Glad you had a good time. You say 66yrs but your gadding about would put a young un to shame.  Cool

oldmetalhead82, sorry about the hospital visit. Glad you are on the mend.
