ok,, opinions please

which is the best high street bank  to bank with ??

i,m going to need to open a new account for my new job  as the bank i am with ( co-op) hasnt got a branch in skipton  but just about every other bank  seems to have a branch on the main street


recomendations please

were with co-op, nearest branch is 20miles away. the way they are closing in our town we won't have a local one at all!!!!

Stick with the coop mike..  I have for years, and like the fact I can use the post office for deposits/withdrawals.

how easy  doe,s it work using the post office  the co-op gave me some  paying in slips (i think thats what they are)
but i havnt tried using the post office yet

you can pay cash straight in or out, the envelopes are for paying cheques in.
we check balance etc online. never had a problem.

the only PIA is paying in cheques, they have to be posted, but depositing money/balances/cash out is all over the counter with a card...  I have a really basic "Cashminder" account that I just use for projects/toys..  

If I sell something for cash it's straight up to the PO and hand it over
