after a long winter doing endless tidy up jobs on my old Dutton, at 8.30 this morning I dropped it in for its MOT. At 9.30 phone rang to say come and collect, it's all passed and ready.  Grin No advisories either, I reckon its the magic Tee shirt.  Wink Still got the carbs to set up proper, seems a little coarse, but pulling well. Here come summer  Cool

Yep, Dolly Sprint engine and overdrive box, all the instruments and most of the wiring, all came from one car. I'm trying to keep it old skool as much as possible. Its not the quickest but it does for me (and the wife).

Getting the SV MoT'd at a local garage, yesterday and whilst mooching around I found a yellow one of those down back of the garage, plus a late 20's 'Henry Ford' body tub, in amazing condition, metalwise ..and a Plymouth summat with a V8 motor, all original,.....interesting..Morrag

Was it a hotrod orientated garage? An interesting collection.

I expect there's a bloke there who keeps saying 'I will get all those projects sorted soon" - and been saying it for the last 10 years!

They mostly seem to belong to the young guy who owns the place, or I assume he does, anyway he runs it, tidy guy who does bike & car, MoT's, and then general auto repairs, but his real interest appears to be older US metal, its called Gower Auto at a place called Crofty, in the Gower Peninsular. Yeah, interesting....
