Rear Mounted Rad

Hi All.

I would like to fit a rear mounted radiator (Nissan Micra) on the back of a piggy trike, and am not sure how to do the plumbing. Could one of the experts please do me a diagram with the required bits on, please?

I am thinking about an electric water pump, header tank ect.

Nothing required instead of a front rad, except possible a small bore bleed back from the top of the rad to the header tank - just thought, you may not have a header tank? Then i would suggest you need one, with a high level from the stat bypass, low level feed to the cold side of the rad/ engine.

I ran a radiator mounted at the back of a couple of my Reliant trikes, but had the water running inside the frame tubes. I used a Fiesta rad' with the filler neck roughly level with the top of the thermostat housing, no header tank. Just used the standard Reliant mechanical water pump & an electric fan. It worked fine, but I think the distance travelled from the engine to the rad' & back again also helped with cooling.
Only niggle I had was filling & bleeding the system -I had to raise the back end on axle stands until it was the highest point in the system when filling & had a brake bleed nipple as an air bleed in the highest water hose.
On my red "Special Delivery" trike the bleed nipples were at the top of the frame front down tubes.

Only using the Micra rad as it is sitting in the shed. It is a closed system so I will need a tank somewhere.
