Got a few small parts for the bike at the powder coaters at the moment, (exhaust bracket etc), & saddle mount to sort out. If it's done in time I'll take you up on the bike transport mate. Thank you.
Still waiting to hear from my mate about transporting the Pop.

As long as it's something interesting, it's welcome Terry.
My Pop won't be there I'm afraid -the transport guy's let me down. With Mr Stinkey's help though, hopefully my bike will be. It's only about a mile from my lock-up to the park. If I start pushing now ...  Tongue

Sarum hill would be a killer. I used to cycle up it but that was forty five years ago.

I will at least visit and mooch around for a while.  I was very tempted to bring the trike for the day and actually took it out for a gentle ride yesterday. All of three miles and realised it really wouldn't be a good idea. Ho hum, never mind.

5 1/2 feet. 13 feet long, (12 feet front to back of the tyres with a 1 foot overhang at the back). About 5" of ground clearance under the cab, 3 or 4" under the rad' grille. Cab height roughly 5 feet. Forgotten the weight, but probably 1 1/2 tons ish.
-I measured it up for the guy who was going to transport it Smiley

So what exactly's the problem Mr Olds? Is this something that'll stop you riding permanently?

I hope not but quite possibly. It's a type of arthritis (AS) that mainly affects the spine. No cure, just pain killers.

have you tried a local transport guy ? I'm sure somebody will have a transporter truck ? We will see what we can do once we get there anyway ?  Triker Pete came round to see me said Hello to everybody on MMM..he's hoping to pop up to Basingstoke ?  Hey Olds sorry to hear about your health issues ?

Local guys are usually all booked up because it's the transport festival, but I've got one bloke left to try. If not, I'll leave it & just take the bike if you can help with that. Lots of suspension linkages will need re-attaching to move the Pop any distance & the whole thing checked over to make sure nothing's gonna vibrate loose on the way there. Probably more hassle than it's worth Smiley
